Winter Term: The Wonderful World of Raymond Briggs

This winter, we’ll step into the magical world of Raymond Briggs, taking inspiration from The World of the Snowman exhibition at the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath. Through the charm and imagination of Briggs’smuch-loved artwork, students will explore storytelling through narrative illustration.

Throughout the term, students will experiment with a variety of exciting techniques, combining watercolour with pencil, ink and wax pastels to create illustrations full of colour, texture and character.

To finish the term on a festive note, our final two lessons will be dedicated to creating unique foil Christmas decorations. Students will emboss, shape and hand-cut their own designs into foil.

Every student will receive their own sketchbook to build on throughout the term. All materials are included.

Please note that all classes have a maximum of 4 students to nurture individual needs.

• Please note that you are making a booking for the term which runs from Monday 2nd November - 14th December. This booking is for a recurring lesson on the same day each week at your allocated time slot of 3.30- 5pm
