Medieval Labour for December.

The killing of the pig represents the labour for this month. Thomas Becket’s shrine sits behind, everyone who came to visit would place relics as offerings. You can see these golden relics scattered throughout the foreground.

This print comes from a recent exhibition in collaboration with writer Amy Jeffs and artists Louise Boulter and Hebe George.

Printed onto Hahnemühle Photorag. This paper produces bright colour reproduction and excellent detail. The paper has a smooth cotton feel with smooth colour gradients.
